Rodrigo Albano
I started in the field of architecture around 1997 as a construction technician, where I created a business with two partners in 2003, conquering the first major client that has accompanied me until today. I started studying 3D and special effects for film and cinema, where in 2008 I changed my solo career creating my business. In the same year, I worked for a year as a contracted designer for a large Brazilian company called Embraer S / A. I created 3D models and renderings for executive and some commercial Airplanes. In 2010, Embraer contacted me again to work with them to build the interior of their first commercial aircraft based only on old technical drawings. After this work, Embraer signed a contract with my company for nine years, where I worked with models, films, effects and everything else necessary to present new concepts and projects. Therefore, I participated in significant events, such as LAAD (largest arms fair in Latin America), building the images, films and VR projects for the KC390 plane. Also, I was at the Paris Air Show, located in Le Bourget, working for 8 days inside the plane on VR projects and all materials created for this event. In 2018 I started a software migration from 3DS Max to Houdini, focusing on procedural modeling, destruction, environment and various effects to improve my actions as a 3D artist. This year I joined Tangent Animation Ontario Inc as a Senior Environment and Hard Surface Modeler in Winnipeg due to the pandemic, started remote work and was moving to Winnipeg Canada, but the company lost contracts with Netflix and all employees were gone. Dismissed. In 2021 I started as Lead Environment at MARZ VFX, and after 8 months I opted for an Environment Houdini TD opportunity, where I worked for another 7 months. In Dezember of 2022, I started to work on a feature film with Orca Studios on a temporary contract until we finalized the project. After the project was finished, I took 18 days of vacation because it had been 3 years without taking a well-deserved vacation. I traveled photographing in Holland, Norway, Denmark and Sweden, and now I'm back taking up my projects. After these short holidays, I started with Picma Creative Post in Brazil to develop some buildings, and a hard surface model of an arm prosthesis that is also part of the film. Well, this is me, and I'm waiting for an opportunity to be interviewed by you.
