A set of skills is not what I consider to be the best description of me or my best asset. I am self-motivated and self-taught, I really love what I do. Creating things 3-D is part of my life and identity. It is my motivation and passion to develop, learn and getting better by the day - to become the best possible version of me. I like to help develop ideas and solutions while contributing to a team. Here is, what describes my skills and way of working: Working part-time as a freelancer for a few years now, I specialised in doing CG landscapes/terrains with apps like WorldMachine, Geoglyph2 and Gaea. I create terrains for offline and realtime renderer (game engines). Most of the time, I lay down a specific layout / form of terrain, (fully procedural - but controlled to a certain degree) and then carefully tweak some (in fact a lot) touches by hand, to avoid uniformity and to break-up repetitive patterns. I do texturing as well, be it general terrain base-color-map or detail textures for use with splatmap. I love texturing 3D assets (any kind of, not just terrains), mostly with Substance painter and/or substance designer in a PBR conform workflow. This includes texture baking in Toolbag3, Substance Painter, blender or MODO and UV-Unwrap (mostly within MODO) as well. Quixel Mixer is also one of my favorite tools for texturing and terrain lookdev. Most of my work´s style aims to be realistic instead of stylized. Usually, I go with photographs - real world references, scanned or procedural textures, that I author myself to fit the mood or look that I´d like to achieve. I also put Megascan surfaces into the mix. Additionally, I have some basic modeling and sculpting experience (MODO, Blender, ZbrushCore). On the CAD side, I got advanced skills in AutoCAD Map3D and CAD viz (render products from CAD Data) I hope this helps you getting a picture - thanks for reading! Have a good one
