Josh McCann
I studied Design at Columbus College of Art and Design. I got a job as a graphic artist while in school and after school I quickly moved up the ranks to become the Art Director, and a little over a year later I was promoted to Director of Technology and Design. (Essentially the Chief Technology Officer). In 2015 I was laid off from my position in corporate America, which I had grown to hate, and always regretted allowing my career to stray from what I really loved, creating. I decided I wasn't going to search another position where I had the most experience in my career. Instead, I decided I was going to get back to creating. And I was going to do -something that I found interesting and had wanted to learn for sometime. I decided I was going to learn 3D modeling. And So my quest began; a journey I'm still on, and will most likely continue until I'm blind or my hands don't work anymore. From and audio standpoint I have been composing/producing/mixing and mastering music for 20 years now. Until recently my go-to genres were House and Funk. Lately I've been writing a good amount of orchestral pieces with modern rhythms, and synths. I have worked on sound design projects for several virtual synth companies creating sound patches for their software.
